  1. Well, it’s certainly more sustainable than cotton. Even organic cotton uses tons of water just to make a few t-shirts.

    • Acknowledged, belatedly. Apologies Janet. In my five years of working with sustainable fashion, I have come to the conclusion that upcycling – from PVC to paper to the remaking of rags (as the Japanese practice in boro) – are the worl’s only realistic options
